In Year 2 students begin a clinical practice placement (1 day a week) to gain practical experience in educational psychotherapy. The placement lasts 2 years and usually takes place in a Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) or similar centre.

Thoughts on the course from current students

"The  course has helped me to be more reflective and to think about the inner worlds of children and what is going on for them"

"Life-changing training that enlightens and empowers practitioners with psychoanalytic understanding that is firmly grounded in the reality of the challenges we face in meeting SEMH needs in education today. Go if you can!"
