Educational psychotherapy is a highly effective way of supporting children and young people with emotional barriers to learning and social development.

Therapeutic teaching methods, incorporated into everyday teaching, can help support children to overcome emotional barriers to learning.

Thoughts on the course from current students

"Incredibly effective, even when I thought I knew it all, I still took something in each week! Every topic was beneficial."

"Very well run by our facilitator, she was excellent, very supportive and great on the course."

"A very well balanced group with a range of roles and personalities which made for interesting and fruitful discussions each week."

"To have the understanding of why children do what they do, how they think and how you can reach their level in a positive way. Importantly to make a difference to their lives and help them to learn."
